Where should we stay?
We kindly ask that all our guests stay at our host resort Dreams Natura. We want our wedding celebration to be a vacation experience for everyone and we'd love to spend some time with you outside of the Wedding Day, be that at the pool, or by sharing a few meals and drinks together. We have set aside a block of discounted rooms (minimum 3-night stay) at this resort and we ask that all room reservations be made through our travel coordinator MarieSam.
When should we arrive?
You've traveled all this way, so you might as well make a vacation out of it and join us as early as possible. Our room block is available as early as October 17 to 24, 2023. And the Wedding is on Friday, October 20th. We have some fun pre-wedding events planned (please click here to see that schedule) and we recommend that you arrive at least 1-2 days before the celebration. But please come and stay as long as you'd like.
Is the money I pay toward a reservation refundable if I need to cancel because I am unable to go for some reason?
No, any deposit or funds paid toward the trip are completely non-refundable unless you purchase travel insurance. No exceptions. So we strongly suggest you purchase insurance wit your reservation -- it can only be added before you pay for your deposit.
What should I wear to the Wedding Celebration?
For the Wedding Day please dress formally -- think beachy, but elegant.
Are kids invited to the wedding?
While we love your families, we want you to take time to enjoy this time away without the kids. Our celebration is an adults-only celebration - children are not invited.
What do we do about transportation in Mexico?
Transportation to and from Cancun Airport to our host resort is included with our group block rates. After you book your flights, please share your flight info with our travel coordintor MarieSam so she can schedule your airport shuttle pickup and drop off accordingly. If you would like to plan any excursions, please ask MarieSam for information and assistance.
Do you we have to stay at Dreams Natura Resort & Spa? Can we stay somewhere else and still attend your wedding?
Yes, all guests must stay at our host hotel to attend our wedding festivities and they must book their room through our travel agent. A huge part of what makes a destination celebration special is being able to spend time with our family and friends by the pool or beach and sharing meals and drinks together.
What if the room I want is not listed as being available?
Please reach out to our travel agent MarieSam and she can request the room for you at the discounted group rate.
What is the weather like? What should we pack?
Puerto Morelos, Mexico is typically hot and humid throughout the year -- temperatures are usually in the high 80s to 90s. We recommend bringing light summer clothing and swimsuits. Other helpful essentials include sunblock, insect repellent, water shoes, swim coverups, flip-flops, sunglasses, etc. Think beach vacation with beach elegant attire for the Wedding Day and beach chic attire for dinners on the other nights during your stay.
